Rick Ross speaks out after a fight involving Kendrick and Drake at a concert.

Rick Ross has expressed his desire to return to Vancouver after footage emerged of him allegedly participating in a fight. The incident happened after Ross, 48, performed at the Ignite Festival in Canada, the hometown of rapper Drake, who is in a long-running feud with artist Kendrick Lamar.

Ross ended his set by playing Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which served as his rebuttal to Drake’s attacks. This song was said to be the winner of the battle between the two and apparently caused controversy at Ross’s show.

Footage of the incident shared on social media shows a man who looks like Ross, engaging in a fight with a male spectator. The man, believed to be a fan of Drake, was punched in the face, causing a fight among attendees. It was reported that he and his group were offended when the song “Not Like Us” was played.

In the video, Lamar’s song is heard in the background, and a man is seen lying unconscious on the ground after the attack. However, Ross was unfazed as he shared a cheerful post on social media, hinting that he enjoyed his time despite the incident. “Vancouver was fun, see you next time,” he wrote in the post.

The male rapper shared with TMZ that no one in his group was seriously injured after the incident, and he is looking forward to returning to Vancouver. In an email to USA TODAY on Monday (July 1), Ross’s representative said the rapper and his team are “all fine” following the incident.

Drake appeared to enjoy footage of the attack on social media, while 50 Cent mocked Ross for being attacked. The rivalry between Drake and Lamar reached a boiling point in May when the two released a series of songs mocking each other, hurling insults and accusations in every verse. Drake accused Lamar of hypocrisy regarding his black activism and domestic violence in his song “Family Matters”. Meanwhile, Lamar accused Drake of hiding his daughter and being addicted to gambling, alcohol, drugs and sex in the song “Meet The Grahams”.
